Thailand’s summer season lasts from March to June, with April and May being the hottest months. Daytime temperatures can reach 35–40°C (95–104°F), especially in Bangkok and other inland areas. The sun shines bright, the air gets dry, and the atmosphere turns tropical and vibrant.

For travelers, this means packing smart. Light cotton clothes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle are must-haves. It's also best to avoid outdoor activities during peak heat hours between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Summer is also the perfect time to enjoy Thailand’s seasonal fruits. Juicy mangoes, rambutans, mangosteens, and lychees are available everywhere—from local markets to smoothie stands. Fresh coconut water and herbal iced drinks like roselle and butterfly pea tea help you stay refreshed.

Despite the heat, this season has its charm. Beaches are warm and beautiful, city streets are lively, and the longer days allow more time to explore. If you plan your activities early in the morning or late in the afternoon, you can still enjoy everything Thailand has to offer comfortably.

Whether you’re relaxing at a beach café or wandering through quiet neighborhoods in Bangkok like Pattanakarn, Thailand’s summer welcomes you with sunshine, flavor, and warmth.
